As I sat down to write my blog this week – I found myself wondering if the simple things that I write about – are actually important enough to interest others.

But then I realised – that in recounting even the simple moments – there is always something beautiful to share.

And it also – in some ways – tells the story of my – ‘ordinary life’ – to quote – “Collect beautiful moments – and let them tell the story of your life”.

And – life is to me – a collection of beautiful – ordinary moments.

If I choose to look – I can always find something beautiful – even in the simplest things – in the ordinary routines of my day – when the ‘ordinary’ – can become the ‘extraordinary’.

I agree with what is said here – “The secret to a joyful life – lies in seeing the extraordinary – within the ordinary. A cup of coffee – a quiet morning – a shared smile. These are moments wrapped in simplicity – but filled with magic – when viewed through the lens of gratitude”.

I love that phrase – ‘wrapped in simplicity – but filled with magic’ – and have experienced it to be so true.

I never want to lose that wonder – and the ability to delight in the beautiful moments – of ordinary life.

It’s true too that – “The sacred often looks ordinary” – and I know that I can – “Find wonder in simple routines – and familiar peace”.

More often than not – I have experienced some of the most sacred moments – in those familiar – and ordinary places.

There can be meaning – in those ordinary days – bringing a richness – even when nothing ‘big’ is happening. And – it’s in those times that my life has deeper meaning – and brings me joy.

I love how this quote puts it –

“There is meaning in ordinary days – even when nothing big is happening. A calm morning – a genuine laugh – a moment of quiet contentment. This is life too”

I am very grateful too – that there are those in my life – with whom I can share my ‘ordinary moments’

It multiplies the joy – that I have felt – as I seek to see the ‘extraordinary – in the ordinary.

“Joy multiplies – when shared – even in the smallest everyday moments”

In fact often – those times when I can simply share my ordinary moments – can be the highlight of my day – making the day richer – and fuller – and making my ‘ordinary’ feel special.

So – thank you – to those willing to hear about my ‘ordinary’ – I love sharing with you – and hearing about your ‘ordinary’ moments too.
