I don’t know about you but I find it hard to wait! Whenever I decide to do something I can hardly wait to begin – waiting for answers – or for things to happen – anything that requires me to wait really tests my patience – and so often throws me back onto God.

As I walked and listened to the song today the words that stayed with me were “He’s with you in the waiting”

It’s there that I find – not only does He give me patience – but He’s with me in the waiting,

There have been times in my life when the waiting has been very hard – but one thing I can say is that I have never waited alone – He has always been by my side – never left me to wait on my own.

It makes such a difference when we have someone to do the ‘waiting’ with us – someone to share our fears – maybe curb our excitement – to listen to our frustrations – our longings – our hopes – and to be there – when the waiting is over.

I find that so important too – that when the waiting is over God does not leave us – He’s walked with us during that ‘waiting time’ and He continues with us on our journey

I pray that if you are going through a time of ‘waiting’ you will experience Him with you – and know that ‘He’s with you in the waiting‘
