‘He Remains Faithful’

remains 6This week I have celebrated my 75th birthday – and I am thankful – thankful that through all those years – He has remained the same – there have been mountain tops – and there have been valleys – pure joy and deep sorrow – yet He has remained faithful – always there.

I have never known what it is to have lived my life without Him by my side – and I’m forever grateful.

One of my favourite songs that we sing – from Bethel Music – is ‘The Goodness Of God’ – where those words ‘All my life You have been faithful – All my life You have been so – so – good’ are not simply words that I sing – but words that are so true in my life.

So whenever my circumstances change – however I am feeling – when my path is full of joy or sorrow – as the song says – ‘With every breath that I am able – I will sing of the goodness of God’

This morning He remains the same as He was yesterday and He will remain the same tomorrow – whatever happens in my life never takes Him by suprise – He is always ready to carry me – to sustain me – to rescue me – for He remains faithful to all He has promised.remains 2

I don’t know the circumstances of your life – what it has been – or how things may change for you. You are likely to encounter both joy and sorrow  and my prayer for you is that you will experience the faithfulness of God – and that you will continually celebrate His goodness.
