Sitting in the quiet this morning I had a strong sense of God filling every part of me and the words of a song by John Denver came to me – ‘You fill up my senses’

You fill up my senses
Like a night in a forest

Like the mountains in springtime

Like a walk in the rain

Like a storm in the desert

Like a sleepy blue ocean

You fill up my senses
Come fill me again

So as I continued to sit – I made that my prayer – that God would fill all my senses – that I would sense Him and know Him in all areas of my life – that He would invade every part of me – so that I saw – felt – and heard His heart.

When I experience a walk in the forest – mountains in the spring time – a walk in the rain – a storm – a blue ocean – and many more tastes of His wonderful creation – it brings God so much closer.

It causes me to love Him more – and to want to give more of myself to Him.

I find myself filled with a joy that flows from Him

 

Let me drown in your laughter

 

 

He is my life – all I want is to be with Him always – to love Him and to know He loves me too

Let me die in your arms

Let me lay down beside you

Come love me again
