The silence and solitude of the early morning – is one of my most treasured times – and especially at this time of the year – when I can sit outside in the cool of the morning – before the day get so hot.

It’s that special time when my soul feels renewed – and my spirit refreshed.
I like the way this quote puts it – “Let your morning be quiet – your breath steady – and your thoughts kinder than they were yesterday”– and I guess that is something to aspire to each day.
In a sense – it’s almost the opportunity to – ‘reset’ – to – ‘begin afresh’ – leaving behind the mistakes of the day before -while learning from them – and allowing my soul to replenish – and my spirit to renew.
Silence and solitude are often referred to as – the soul’s best friends – and I would agree with that.

I find it easier – to be truly in touch with my soul – when I can be in that place – create that space – even for a short while – to be quiet – and alone.
It sets me up for the day – allowing me to hear my soul’s true voice – for it’s – “In the silence of solitude – you can hear your soul’s true voice”.
Even a short time – calming my thoughts – before the day begins – does make a difference. I find I am more able to keep calm – continuing to listen to that inner voice – that I have tuned into – as I face any challenges that the day may bring.
If I am not careful – I can so easily race into my day – eager to get on with all the things I want to accomplish. But – it beholds me – to pause – and to embrace those precious moments of quiet.

I came across this quote – that would be good to remind myself of each day –
“With a gentle heart – I embrace these precious moments of quiet – a tender sanctuary for my soul. I hold immense gratitude for the solitude that allows my spirit to unfurl – revealing the profound wisdom and healing light within – guiding my journey with grace and understanding”.
