Just a week ago we moved house – what a day it was – and what a week it has been! So much to do – so many boxes – a herculean task of moving things around and finding room for all our belongings.

Before we moved we decide to bring everything with us and gradually decide what we really needed and wanted – sorting out as we went along – deciding not to simply store everything – but just those things that had real meaning – or good use for us. I love this quote – “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful – or believe to be beautiful”
The interesting part for me – is seeing this house so very quickly transformed into a home – our home – as our belongings slowly emerged – and surrounded us – it was amazing how soon we – in all honesty – felt ‘at home’.

As this quote says – “Your home should tell the story of who you are – and be a collection of what you love – brought together under one roof”
It’s so much fun – and a challenge – especially with three generations living together – we have so much to show who we all are – both as individuals – and together – and there is so much that we all love – so many decisions to be made!

We pray that as we make a new start here – amidst the grief we still feel – that our home will truly be – a place where love resides – new memories are created – friends always feel they belong – and laughter never ends.
Blessings to you all – Lois
Wishing you all the best in your new home Lois.
