For some reason this morning was one of the very rare occasions when I really had to push myself to go out for my early morning walk – generally I am so eager – looking forward to both the exercise and the solace walking in the quiet usually brings to my soul.
As I walked out of the door my head was filled with the words of a well known song – and one which has been played and listened to a lot over recent days – The title to the song being – ‘You’ll never walk alone’
The song has been sung by the war veteran Captain Thomas Moore who raised nearly 33 million pounds for the NHS – he vowed to walk 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday – and as well as being so successful with that venture – his singing of this song alongside Michael Ball has reached no 1 in the charts!
I find it so amazing how God choses to speak to me in such a variety of ways and through so many different things.
As I listened to the words of that song they spoke to my heart and soul –
My hope is in God – and I was reminded this morning – I never walk alone – He is with me every step of the way – so I held my head up high – walked through the wind – and thanked Him for this wonderful reminder.
May you know that whatever you are going through you need never walk alone – Blessings Lois
Thank you for this, Lois. The other day my sis sent me a link to this song as a โcheer up.โ What powerful words! Blessings! ๐๐ถ๐ค๐ถ
