Sometimes I will jot down a phrase – or even just a word – that I have either read or heard – that speaks to me – and save it to ponder on at a later date.
‘Wings to fly’ – was one of those small phrases that has continued to stay with me – and whenever I think of it – I am filled with gratitude – for those times – when I can take advantage of those ‘wings’ – and allow my spirit to soar.

For me – this is especially important – when my earthly body feels bound – those times when I may feel as though my life is restricted in some way.
But I came across this quote – which puts it so beautifully I think – “Boundaries – are the wings that let your spirit soar”.

Or – as someone said – “As you spread your wings – remember that the challenges are what make you soar”
What a thought – that any boundaries that I may feel hold me back – are actually the wings – that enable me to fly.
Those do seem to be the times when I most need to – spread my wings – to rise above the challenge – and – allow my spirit to soar above – filling my soul – and causing me to ‘fly’.

I actually find that a very freeing thought – and – it certainly changes the way I look at the challenges in my life – and allows me to recognise – the truth that – “The higher you soar – the smaller your fears seem below”

It’s as though I gain a different perspective – and realise that allowing my soul to soar – simply adds to the harmony of my life – as at the same time – I care for my body – and feed my mind.
As this quote advises here – “Nurture your body with care – feed your mind with curiosity – and let your spirit soar on the wings of peace – for in the harmony of these – lies the essence of true well being”.
I need to take care of them all – my body – mind – and spirit – for that is what creates true harmony.

I love the sentiments expressed here – “May your spirit soar – throughout the vast cathedral of your being – my your mind whirl joyful cartwheels of creativity – may your heart sing sweet lullabies of timelessness”.
I love to visualise my being – as a vast cathedral – through which my spirit can soar – and today – I am so glad – that I have – ‘wings to fly’.
Blessings – Lois
