I’m entering into an extra busy time just now – having set out to grow so much – from seed – for the garden.

I’m excited to watch the growth – but of course much work is needed in tending them all – watering and nurturing – and now some of them are ready to be transplanted. I’m rather hoping that I get it all right – as I experiment this year – and hope to be rewarded with much colour in the flower beds,

Each day there seems to be something to do – and my time is taken up very quickly.

It’s at times like this that I can so easily find myself making excuses – saying that ‘I don’t have time’ – and in fact – that’s what I almost did with regard to my blog this week.

Even as I was pondering these things – I realised that it is actually very important that I make the time – for others – as well as for myself.

It’s so true that – “It’s not about ‘finding time’ – it’s about – making time”.

And it struck me today – that it actually wouldn’t take too much time – or effort – to thank all of you – who make the time to read my Blog each week. If it wasn’t for you – I would have never found the courage to put my writing out there in the first place.

I am not aware of who you all are – but I am encouraged – and blessed – to know that you take the time – and there are those of you who go even further than that – you make the time to encourage me too – and I am so grateful – and so – I say – ‘Thank you’.

This may be a short blog post – but – even as I have put it together – it has made me more aware – of the importance of – making time in my life – for the things – and the people – that are important to me – and really matter.

As this quote says – “Too busy is just a myth – people make time for the things that are important to them” – and so – I make time today – as it’s important to me – and you are important to me – and I hope you are blessed and encouraged – to continue to make the time – for the things that are important to you. too.
