I love that life is a journey – and that it always has so much to teach me.

I am loving the journey that I find myself on – ever changing – full of surprises – always moving – and – always changing me – and challenging me – to try new pathways – and I love the fact that – it is my very own journey too.

I have travelled long – on this journey – stayed in many and varied places – experienced so much – met so many wonderful people who have shared part of that journey with me – and yet – our journeys are not the same – but – as this quote puts it – “Your journey is not the same as mine – and my journey is not yours – but – if we meet on a certain path – may we encourage each other” – and I am always so blessed when that happens. When I meet others – who maybe walk a different path – and yet they simply encourage me on my way – and allow me to encourage then too.

For one thing I recognise – is that even though I may share the same experiences – frequent the same places – the way these things impact my life – my soul – will vary from how others feel. As someone said –“Your journey will be different from the journeys of others – allow it to be”. We do not totally experience the same – even from a shared experience – and for me that has become so very important – and necessary – to remember.

It’s okay that my journey is different – even though others may not understand where I am going – or even why I am making the choices I make. Sometimes I do not fully understand myself – but – “I am learning to trust my journey – even when I do not understand it”

I am becoming brave enough to own my journey – to allow it to take me to places I have not yet travelled – and to make the journey truly mine. To use this quote – “Note to self – This is your journey – your body – your mind – and your spirit. Dig deep – own it – and start doing things for you – and by you”.

It can be hard sometimes when others don’t understand my journey – and sometimes has meant that our ways part – but – I am confident and at peace – following the path I am travelling on – and although – to quote – “Not everyone will understand your journey – that is okay – you are here to live your life – not to make everyone understand”.

And so – I travel on – trusting – learning – growing – and fully enjoying – and owning – my very own journey.
