I am so loving this week of glorious sunshine – rising each morning to such brightness – fills my heart with joy – for – “The sun’s daily return – always fills me with hope”.
I almost feel as though I am coming out of hibernation – stepping back into the light – and reconnecting with the world – after slowing down through the winter months.

The winter can seem so long – and always leaves me longing for those longer – lighter days – but –
“We can’t rush any season – so let it do it’s job. Wintering is there to help us adapt and rejuvenate. Rest – reflect – put the house in order. Spring will surely come in time”.
I often say how much I enjoy the changing of our seasons. Each one brings something special with it – and allows me to enjoy such variety.
Each season feeds my soul – and allows me to go at a different pace – following the pattern of the seasons – from those shorter days – of what almost seems like ‘hibernation’ – to the lengthening sunlit days – where a newness of life abounds.

I am always ready – for the next season to begin – and if I’m honest – the one I look forward to the most – is the Spring.
Sometimes – “You don’t realise how heavy the Winter feels – until the sun lingers a little longer – and the birds start singing again. Suddenly – your whole spirit feels lighter”.
I have to say that my whole world feels lighter – when the sun shines.
I have missed my morning walks – partly due to the difficulty I have these days with walking – and having to go slower – but also – because of the cold – especially the wind and the rain.
And so – I am loving being able to get out again – to slowly walk in the sunshine – to breathe in the air.
I have planted my seeds – and am potting out the seedlings – enjoying the sight of the Spring flowers.

So much to plan for – and look forward to – filling me with renewed energy – and definitely making me feel as though – I am coming out of hibernation –
I love the sentiment of this quote –
“The beautiful Spring came – and when nature resumes her loveliness – the human soul is apt – to revive also” – and I certainly feel revived – and so happy to see that sunshine.
Blessings – Lois
