I recently read an article – where the author was recounting the number of times when – who he was had been defined by the things he did – or the things that he believed.
I do find this quite a common assumption – and agree that – we are far more than these things. He went on to talk about the whole understanding – that we are all in fact – ‘becoming’. Life is a constant process – a progression – constantly changing – as we are.

Someone once said – “What I am to be – I am now becoming” – and I love that.

I love the thought that – as this quote says – “For me – becoming isn’t about arriving somewhere – or achieving a certain aim – I see it instead as a forward motion – a means of evolving – a way to reach continuously toward a better self – the journey doesn’t end”.
Constantly in motion – constantly becoming.

I am enjoying discovering myself – recognising that – I am still - ‘becoming’ - and that – I’m a different person – to who I was this time last year.
I am loving the journey I find myself on – a journey of new discoveries – of changed perspectives – and – as quoted here – “I’m proud of the woman I am becoming – my mindset has changed – my priorities have changed – my taste has changed – my tolerance has changed - I’m evolving”.

I no longer define myself by my beliefs – for they are constantly evolving too – nor do I restrict restrict my thinking – I am learning to allow myself to think freely – to explore new avenues of thought – to glean from the insights of others – who have trod a similar path before me – and to follow where my heart and soul lead me.
It’s exciting – it’s unpredictable – yet – at the same time – it’s freeing – to watch – as I continue to – ‘become’ – all I am meant to be.
Blessings – Lois
