I love it when I meet ‘kindred spirits’ – when hearts and minds connect – in an understanding – an acceptance – a true meeting of souls.
This past week – simply in conversation with two different people – at different times – and miles apart – there was such a unique blending of thought – as each shared almost identical insight and inspiration – that gladdened my heart and soul.
I am so very thankful for those kindred spirits in my life – those that have been there in the past – and those I have the privilege to walk my journey with in the present.
This quote expresses it so well – “Kindred spirits are quiet supporters – that can offer us moments of understanding – insight – and delight – on the winding road of our life paths”

While I am grateful for all of my friends – the one’s I cherish the most – are those with whom I feel a ‘soul connection’ – the ones who seem to ‘know’ me – and understand me deeply.
“There are some people who could hear you speak a thousand words – and still not understand you – and there are others – who will understand you – without even speaking a word”
It really is such a blessing – to have such people in my life – and I never want to take them for granted. They are the ones who keep me strong – who cheer me on – who give me the courage to walk the path that I am on – who are there for me – whenever I need them.

As this quote says – “When we feel this strong inter-soul connection with another person – we feel the confidence to share everything – knowing that we need them – as much as they need us”
And that’s one of the beautiful things about ‘kindred spirits’ – it’s a two-way connection – each one understanding and sharing with the other – allowing neither to ever feel alone – always there – a strength and a comfort – and an enormous blessing.
Blessings – Lois
