The word ‘surrounded’ has been with me during the past few days – it describes how I feel during this difficult time for our family.

We have been ‘surrounded’ so strongly by the closeness of God – knowing – and feeling His arms around us – strengthening us – loving us – giving us peace.

Yet – it’s more than knowing Him with us – feeling Him in our hearts and minds – it’s knowing His touch through others – being surrounded by the love and concern of so many – who offer their love in so many ways.

Constant visits and messages – filled with encouragement and hope – practical help – meals prepared and delivered – enabling us as a family to spend as much time as we need in walking this journey.

We know we are not alone – so many walk alongside – and we thank you.

I pray that if your journey is difficult – lonely – or long – that you will know that surrounding presence of the One Who longs to walk with us daily – and that you will experience that presence – that love – through those around you as they too surround you with their love.
